The 32nd World Congress of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy, to be held from June 28 to July 3, 2026, in Istanbul, invites scholars to submit proposals for special workshops and individual papers.

The theme for the meeting is “Law in the Face of the Changing Problems of the World”, but papers and panels need not be restricted to this theme.

Special Workshop Proposal (Peer-reviewed)

We are currently accepting proposals, and the deadline for special workshop proposals is May 30, 2026. Authors can submit proposals through the submit page (https://submit.ivr2026istanbul.org/). Please create an account and fill out the submission form.

Proposals on topics related to the philosophy of law and social philosophy in a broader sense are also welcomed. Convenors of a special workshop will write a proposal dealing with a particular theme or subject. There is a 750-word limit for a special workshop proposal.

The IVR 2026 organizing committee will give its best attention and contact the corresponding author(s) by the end of each month. All accepted proposals will be made available on the Programme menu.

Please send an email to info@ivr2026istanbul.org in case of any query.

Individual Paper Proposal (Peer-reviewed)

We are currently accepting proposals, and the deadline for individual paper proposals is May 30, 2026. An Author can submit a proposal through the submit page (https://submit.ivr2026istanbul.org/).

Please create an account and fill out the submission form. Proposals on topics related to the philosophy of law and social philosophy in a broader sense are also welcomed. There is a 300-word limit for an individual paper proposal.

If there is more than one author (up to two authors only), it is possible to submit a single proposal. In such cases, each author has to register individually. When each co-author submits the same proposal independently, please indicate your co-authorship in the submission.

The IVR 2026 organizing committee will give its best attention and contact the organizer and submittee individually by the end of each month. The IVR 2026 organizing committee will create working groups for submitters of individual paper proposals together with others on similar topics. These working groups will be posted on the IVR 2026 website a few weeks prior to the Congress.
